Expansion Of Studio11/62

Studio11/62 is expanding. Simply, this studio was a makeshift studio in the garage. Not anymore! Studio 11/62 is now a complete studio with top of the line lighting equipment, a wide variety of props and backgrounds, and even themed outfits for certain assignments and shoots. Curtis purchased much of his equipment and accessories from a studio photographer who retired from his business. He also purchased much of his equipment and accessories from camera shops, fabric stores, and art supply stores to complete his studio. That doesn't include the numerous trips to building supply stores for his backdrops. Curtis has included transferring images as props. He now has a blue screen and green screen for transferring images as background. Great gimmick! People can be photographed anywhere and still be in Vegas, San Diego, Seattle, or Auberry. The great thing is you can be indoors in a studio and have outdoor background. Be photographed in Seattle while you're in Vegas baby! It's fun too! Studio 11/62 has creative effects backdrops! Some black velour as a backdrop plus a sheet of corregated aluminum roofing, a garden hose set on mist plus great studio lighting makes a unique background. Ground sheet metal, tungsten gels over softboxes, and the camera set on tungsten and spray silver body paint on the subject gives an artistic flare to doing a unique portrait. Curtis has Oriental umbrellas, kimonos, palm trees, and bamboo backdrop for an Oriental portrait. Even use the blue or green screen and you can be photographed in Japan or China! Great concept! One can be a rockstar and band and the stage is in the backdrop. Currently the living room, a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen are being used as backgrounds. The garage is being remodeled . This will become a full studio mainly for the creative effects shoots. Interested? All you have to do is go to the contacts page and send Studio 11/62 an email explaining to Curtis what type of shoot you want, the location (in studio or offsite), what type of shoot you want (comp cards-portfolio images, commercial shoot, or personal), your budget, the day of the shoot, and tell him if you need him to hire models for the shoot.

Up And Coming Model Shoots

April 2007

Looking for five and up to seven models for an outdoor photo shoot in the desert near Las Vegas. Curtis is inneed of five beautiful ladies within the age range of 18 through 29 years-old. Any race is fine, must have a

profile on a major modeling website, have photographs posted, and references. Two handsome men within the ages of 23 to 35 years-old. Any race is fine, must have a profile on a major modeling website, have photographs posted, and references. Ladies need to have a loose fitting evening dress with matching shoes. Each lady will select a pastel color and will wear that pastel color only. For example: one lady will wear a teal outfit, another will wear coral, the third will wear seafoam, the fourth fuschia, and the last will wear ivory. One lady will wear a fuschia dress, fuschia scarf, fuschia bikini, and fushcia shoes. The men will wear ivory (white is optional) loose fitting long sleeved button up shirt with collar and cuffs, draw stringed long pants, tank top, belt, socks, and boat shoes - everything must be one color! It's either ivory or white...not both. This means no brown shoes...no brown belt. It's extremely important that both the model and the photographer need to inform each other what color the model is wearing for this photo shoot. If the model doesn't tell the photographer, chances are the model will not be photographed. If you are interested please. Either call or email Curtis to sign up now. No specific dates yet until Curtis has enough models.

New to Studio11/62

Chroma Key

Studio11/62 now provides chroma key. How would you like to be photographed in front of Seattle's Space Needle and be in Vegas in-studio? Maybe you need your comp card vamped up! Maybe Studio

11/62 can help. All you have to do is be photographed in front of either a chroma key blue or chroma key green screen. You select your background. Your image is transferred over to the selected background and there you go! However, there are some tips to a successful portrait. One is you do not wear blue clothing or jewelry when shooting with the blue screen. Don't wear green clothing or jewelry when photographing with the green screen. The reason for this is because during the process of transferring your image to the new background, the greens are extracted along with the background I photograph you in. Then when the your image is transferred to your selected background, whatever you are wearing will be replaced by the new background. And the results...well they speak for themselves. So wear something that is not the same color as the chroma key background you will be photographed in. All backgrounds I have will be images I have taken. If you have an image you would like to use as a background that is high resolution or quality...I'll be happy to photograph you with your image. However, special rates will apply. The chroma key feature is great for comp cards, bulletins, banners, and ads too.
