Tips
For Your Photo Shoot
What do I need to bring to my photo
shoot?
You should bring makeup (studio and photo
friendly), baby oil, shimmer lotion, appropriate clothing
(also be able to mix match), matching lingerie sets, bikinis,
high heels, matching shoes, matching accessories, sexy outfits,
full sport gear (and equipment if necessary), themed props,
any props to add in, matching belts, and any other things
you may want to add into your photos.
How do I prepare for my photo shoot?
You should try to get at least 8 hours
of sleep the night before. Also, try to free up several
hours of your day, if not the whole day, so you’re
not trying to rush through your shoot. Eat a light meal
a few hours before your shoot (nothing big). A tan makes
a huge difference in photos.
Will you help me pose?
Of course I can. I can’t stress how
much better a shoot goes when I have pictures to emulate.
So look in your favorite magazines and cut out pictures
you like. Also search online and print out pictures. If
you forget to bring pictures, don’t worry about it!
I can furnish pictures to work with.
What type of outfits should I bring?
It depends on the type and subject matter
of the shoot. If you are doing a fashion shoot, you will
want to bring some designer outfits, some upscale casual
outfits, and some conservative jewelry. Please nothing trendy
(unless specified). The problem with trendy styles are many
times they are already dated at the time of the shoot. Conservative
never goes out of fashion. Lingerie, just bring a few matching
sets. Rule of thumb, it is better to bring more than not
enough.
Will I need to do my own hair and
makeup?
Yes you will. I am not a makeup artist
and currently searching for makeup artists to work with
me on my shoots. I will tell you what I need and will give
you 48 hours notice or sooner for any specifics…such
as hair dying or enhancements, etc.
I want to do this, but I’m
nervous about it.
That’s understandable. You’re
not the only one. Many people feel the same way. As soon
as a person walks into the studio or set they’re already
at ease. If you are really, really nervous. Just come in
early before the shoot and meet me and my assistants.
